Thousand of books have been written about spirituality, religions, God, gods, etc. A lifetime would not suffice to read them all and very few will give you answers to the whys and hows that come up your mind. As far as I am concerned I want answers to my whys and hows that make sense. Not the answers with lots of mysteries or those leaving me wondering. Also beyond one point one has to act, not just questioning. Because there will always be questions, unanswered.
From my findings and readings and reflections, anything that pretends that we are gods, semi-gods or other-wise is at least to be taken with a grain of salt. Pretending that we are gods or that we will meet God or anything in-between in that line of thinking degrades the very meaning of what should be a God to our own stupid level of human beings or spiritual beings that happen to be down here.
So to those who are of that conviction, dream on...
The big question is always "why am I here?". We are here to learn something. This world is an imperfect one, isn't this? So are we, inperfect. If we were perfect we wouldn't need to be here OR we could have asked to come back to help others getting to higher levels of consciousness. But this is reserved to very few who are trained for that purpose and incarnate in the body of a woman in a given situation that will permit the mission to be accomplished if possible. We know what happened to Jesus and where he ended up... Anyone coming with a message that put into question men institutions and power risks having its life shorten... For the rest of us, read on because I don't think and I don't know if I have a mission or where I am in my spiritual evolution. Only here to share.
We don't choose our family
Well... I am sorry to disappoint you but in most cases we do. Why and how? Incarnation is a process, an incredible process and a marvelous one. We talk very often of it being a miracle. Of course it can be scientifically explained and what science has disovered of the process is right. Yet this is only what is happening in the material world. The process is far greater than what science can explain and what I am about to add does not put into question what science has discovered. It is a view from the Other Side.
At least two main things are happening. A woman wants a child, gets pregnant one way or the other. To keep things simple let's say we are dealing with a woman in a relationship with a man but you can imagine any sort of situation you wish because it is just about the same process going on. A person who is on the Other Side at whatever spiritual levels has to come back to experience a new phase of its SPIRITUAL evolution. That is our first and foremost mandate after all. Not to make money, go to university, have a car, a house, a mortgage, etc. All those things are very earthy things and secondary. They will or will not help us graduate in the spiritual world. It depends on what it is we wish to accomplish and how much it is IN LINE with a SPIRITUAL endeavor.
So this person on the Other Side has to find a bearer that is in line with its own evolution and goals. There is no catalog for choosing. In fact it all has to do with spiritual attractions. There is not only one woman on earth capable of bearing one person waiting on the Other Side. But as it goes, at the end only one will be chosen to be the bearer of what will be eventually her child for the duration of her existence down here. Life circumstances will make this relationship great or not. In some so-called primitive societies, women who get pregnant leave their village and isolate themselves. Not out of shame but to have full control of the being they wish to incarnate and bear. In that sense women have a huge responsibility. They are the ones choosing who is going to be that child, because that child is a PERSON.
For instance and as an example a woman is pregnant and goes to bars every night or work in a bar, etc. she might end up incarnate and bear a person very different from what she hoped for because of the influence of others in her surrounding during the pregnancy. There are literally billions of individuals on the other side wishing to come BACK down here and they are not all that nice. The surroundings to which a pregnant woman submits herself will determine the kind of individual that will incarnate. Other factors are influencing too.
Here is well-known case: She is called Mary. And she's also called Mary the Virgin. Now this is a twist of meaning of word. In order to receive, incarnate and bear someone like Jesus, she would have to be the purest possible. So must be her companion, Joseph. They have been told they will be the parents of a Messenger from the Heavens. That is why we call it the Immaculate Conception because this incarnation happened in the purest way possible. To think she is virgin and did not have to copulate with a man (Joseph) in order to get pregnant is ridicule. The laws of the universe work for everyone. It would be foolish to think there are some derogatory rules because you are either a God or a Messenger from Heavens. It would have to mean double standard and imperfection as a whole.
When I was younger I would tend to say as others do "we don't choose our family/". But with time I came to consider I was born where I should have been born. That environment helped me being who I am. I was placed in an environment that was not always easy except that it made me grow and learn so much. So today I can say I was born exactly where I should be. Life circumstances are different for everyone, but we have to find out why we are where we are and with whom. As I wrote before in some instances someone being incarnated down here ain't fitting in a given family. I cannot go further than that because I don't know either the circumstances of the pregnancy and why that is. There are other aspects that are to consider. Sometimes a person being born in a family has a reason to be there. We have to reflect upon that and determine what it is.
