Love, karma, energy

The best way to grow spiritually is through... love! Not necessarily love for one person, universal love. This is of course easier said than done. We are raised to mistrust. To love is not something "fluffy". Yet through love you will eventually feel "lighter".

The best way to express love is not to try to embrace the world but through your deeds. It has to do with compassion towards one another, that is helping others in any way possible. We only have to sincerely do as much as we can in a given circumstance.

It could only be holding the door to the next person! In that sense nowadays automatic door are taking away a simple gesture of courtesy! It might be convenient but it doesn't put into perspective your "precious" time. How long does it take in one's life to hold the door to the next person? That goes for any simple gesture. Are we so cheap as to not have the time to hold a door? It takes one or two seconds of one's "precious" time. We have to show humanity towards each other, individuals being on a journey down here as we are.

There is something karmic about simple gestures. Every time you do one simple gesture you partly redeem whatever bad karma you've accumulated, not unlike Air Miles™ :) This goes the other way as well. If you are doing things harmful to you or others, it's recorded somewhere, not the NSA... Our goal is to spiritually grow.

I understand pretty well that this seems far-fetched. I can't prove that in a test tube in a lab. Even though I can't prove it, it won't hurt me if I hold the door to the next person. Do to others what you would like others do for you. And don't calculate all the time. It won't work if you do things to redeem whatever it is you feel requires some expiation. The gestures that counts are the ones done with spontaneity, not through calculation.

Whatever we do or say creates energy. We determine what type of energy we want to make use of in our life. If you feel good about the gesture you just did it is a kind of energy that is used for you and for others.

Energy equals vibrations or frequencies or pulses, not unlike the frequency to distribute electricity to a house which in most countries is either 50 or 60 Hertz.or cycles or pulses per second. We could talk about radio frequencies which are also vibrations or pulses per second. The whole universe is made up of frequencies. That's the way the energy is transmitted in any world. Nikola Tesla invented a device to listen to the universe, called the teslascope. But it can go so far as the known universe. Same for radiotelescope that are listening to all sorts of frequencies emitted by all sorts of objects in the the material universe.

Anyone of us uses frequencies as well. When we say to someone "you got good vibes" we only recognize this. You can feel one person's frequencies and you may or may not feel comfortable with theirs compared to yours and vice versa. You feel a warmth next to this person or you are feeling a repulsion.

Languages are also using frequencies or vibration. The way we use our languages is building us as persons but also as communities. We are responsible for the way we use those frequencies. They determine a path. It is political. We choose to be either peaceful, engaging and cooperative or we choose otherwise. We then have to understand the consequences of our choice.

Good vibes attracts good vibes and bad ones attracks bad ones. Some people may be powerful in the material world but they might not be so powerful on the Other Side. It all depends on the way ones uses the energy. It's no brainer. In the other world if you even try to be powerful you'll be quickly put in your place by the forces out there, that is you might be powerful but to a very very low level, next to this material world. Further you climb the spiritual latter, less you are powerful because it doesn't exist as such on higher plans because relations are made of exchange, cooperation... and love.

Group of affinities and personal progression

To some extent things are no so different on the Other Side as here. Why should they be so weirdly different?

On the Other Side people form communities if they wish so. Like down here. People regroup by affinities according to their levels of "spirituality". Every way of the steps towards what we could call "enlightenment", one finds groups of affinities.

For example, if one is a flute player and plays with others there are flute players on the Other Side which you can join, always according to your level of spirituality. Your personal evolution determines that you can be with other flute players who have the same level of evolution as yours.

Same goes for any activity, except that some disappear as you climb up the ladder of spirituality. If you wish to stay a criminal, a gambler or whatever is of low level, you can. But then you won't be very high in the ladder. And you face the possibility of being annihilated...

The level of spirituality is in no way determined by wealth. Your notoriety as a drug dealer or a phlanthropist is irrelevant. It is the sum of your deeds that determines you level of spirituality. If on one hand you gave millions of dollars to arts but on the other hands unjustifiably exploited your workers, you are not to expect to be treated with deference.

In fact some of your former workers might be way up in the spiritual scale compared to you and it might stay that way for a long long time. It is not a matter of revenge, only of spiritual levels. This is just an example. It serves the purpose of explaining how things work on the Other Side. After all it's a practical guide. No frills. If you wish to be rubbed in the right way or if you are looking for an ego-booster, there are literally hundred of books out there that will do so to please you.

The Other, My Mirror

It is not at all necessary to be part of any religion to reach spiritual heights. Religions are man-made institutions. One just has to follow the simple rules that are at its disposal, like the ones I give here or any wisdom they find, except that one has to remember that a great many people are just serving their own turfs, making things so easy that one might as well do without. There is indeed work to do to reach those spiritual heights, make no mistake about that.

One of the most difficult aspect of this willingness to reach spiritual heights is... oneself. Take for instance being surrounded by others. Whenever you are to complain about someone else behaviour, manners because they drive you nuts or just irritate you, make sure you are not talking about yourself. Most of the time what one is reproaching to someone else is also something one should look within oneself. It's there for sure. The other always acts as a mirror. It is shocking. It is unacceptable. Indeed! And yet there is no escape. Before (or at the same time as) changing the world one has to work on oneself and there are no better ways than confronting others which allows to react and act... upon oneself. First.

If we were or had to pay Jesus as an expert witness when he came around it would have cost around one million dollar per word he would pronounce. It's not every day we get to encounter someone coming from the highest of the highest spiritual lands visiting us. So before we killed him because we didn't like his line of thinking, he had the time to say a couple of things worth billions of dollars, because nowadays that seems to be all that counts: how much is it worth?

So check it for yourself and think about it for a moment. In Matthews 7.3 when it is reported Jesus said the following: "Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but fail to notice the beam in your own eye? 4. How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ while there is still a beam in your own eye?", he indeed gave us for free an incredible key to our spiritual endeavour. It didn't only mean: "Don't judge others", it meant and still means first and foremost we'd better check our own self THROUGH the reaction we trigger in ourselves while in the surrounding of others. The mirror. We are face to face with ourselves when we are with others. In a good way or in a bad way. If we feel comfortable with someone it is because we are alike and it pleases us. It is very easy to always stay surrounded by people just pleasing us but we don't learn much in terms of improving ourselves. Not that one should not see people pleasing them, but that one has to also encouter people not pleasing oneself if one is to learn something about oneself.

Revolution & Spirituality

The spiritual revolution starts between our two ears. Nowhere else. We have first to establish what type of revolution and what type of society we want to live in. Not in groups at first. Between the ears. There are things to solve which are not easy.

Most revolution have failed on the long run because they were not established on solid grounds. It is not necessary at all to take up arms to build a revolution. And if one is talking about a spiritual revolution, arms of any kind are strictkly prohibited, otherwise it is anything but a spiritual revolution which can only be achieved by like-minded people. No need either to demonstrate in the streets. It is in silence a spiritual revolution must happen first. To build a collective that lasts the rules must be the same for every participant. The rules for a spiritual revolution are very simple. So simple in fact that so far they've been the hardest to follow for a few thousands years or some hundreds of generations. Sadly there are not much followed. Courthouses are filled with people not following the rules and lawyers are ever busy streamlining the process.

In the end it is useless to try to change coercively others' viewpoints or behaviours. It ain't workin' and it's not the way a spiritual revolution ought to work. For the better or the worse I might add. One has to be a model. That is all there it because the rewards of a spiritual revolution don't come through like Air Miles of financial benefits (though they could). The rewards are from other dimensions, readily available here in the material world and throughout the known and unknown universe.

I know it feels almost frustrating but we are so much conditioned by what capitalism and the industrial revolution has brought that we can't think straight anymore because we want our rewards even before we've started working on ourselves.

This society is based on fulfilling needs. And there are literarally thousands of artificial needs to fulfill. We have to think in terms of scarcity, not in terms of abundance. This is obviously "unAmerican". I am not here to rub your ego. I am here to tell you something different. If one is frustrated because one has no car one should start thinking about that. I am 57 and have had no cars in my life. I lived in many cities and even in the countryside from 2005 to 2007 in a real small 8 x 8 feet cabin I built myself with recycled material: cost 5$. I bought one acre of land for it. I had no water no electricity, only an oil lamp and a trek to the river for the water. After the two-year experience I eventually sold the piece of land at the same cost I paid for 10 years before. No speculation. It served its purpose and ended up paying nothing to house myself for two years. In fact I made a profit because I sold it. It's all in the mind.

Life is not about working 9 t0 5 every weekday for 40 years.and then retiring. This is nonsense. I retired slowly from age 19 and did not work full time very long. I wanted to enjoy life and most jobs are far from being an enjoyment unless one is to be resilient with that.

Everything has to change in order to achieve a spiritual revolution. E.V.E.R.Y;T.H.I.N.G. Since I cannot argue with anyone about this, I do it in silence on my own.

In North American terms I am very poor, earning and capping a yearly revenue of about 15 000 $. Yet I live like a millionaire having much free time on my hand every day of the year. That is the way I envisioned my 'retirement' a long time ago after I saw people just retiring at 65 and dying soon afterwards. It's insane. I live in a two-storeys townhouse of more than 1200 sq feet in the city with a great backyard with many kids playing in it after school. My landowner are very nice people and we exchange services and goodies all the time. Those are my rewards.

This is my revolution since I cannot convinced anyone of the true nature of spiritual revolution. Start on yourself. Things will happen. I experimented it. It is in no way wishful thinking. Just remember to thank the Lord (or the Cosmos if you wish so) for the good life you are having. Don't get into useless hassles, be humble and respect others.
